Modemul  GSM/GPRS  poate fi folosit  in aplicatii care necesita functionare de sine statatoare,  gratie aplicatiilor M2mpower care pot fi incarcate in memoria acestui echipament.  Astfel se pot reduce substantial timpii si costurile de dezvoltare la implementarea diverselor solutii de telemetrie.
